Denver Sheriff Orphan's Fund

Denver Sheriff Orphan's Fund Since 1990, the Denver Sheriff Orphan's Fund, Inc. has paid over $68,000 towards the educational expenses of the children of our fallen officers.

In 1988, after Deputy Sheriff Daniel Stillwell was killed in the line of duty at Denver General Hospital, the "Denver Sheriff Orphan's Fund, Inc." was established. The purpose of the Fund was to provide financial assistance for the education of the children of Denver Deputy Sheriffs killed in the line of duty, For the first three years, the fund benefited from the proceeds of Kops 'n Kids. However

, due to the Kops 'n Kids being disbanded in 1992 and their sponsorship discontinuing the Denver Sheriff Orphans Fund became "self-sufficient." The Denver Sheriff Orphan's fund is a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation and all money is raised through uniformed staff deductions and private donations. We can only continue with the help of donations from people like yourself, please consider a donation today!
