As the earth heats up due to global warming, we’re all going to need stronger Soil and Soul skills. We could all get better at growing food, taking care of the earth, and oneness.

For children, this comes naturally. For adults, not so much.

Soil & Soul and Cocoplum Nature School invite you to The Hive for Fall Family Mindfulness to enter into a new season with our children by our side.

Taking care of the Earth requires skill — many skills.

Adults will learn and practice Soil & Soul Skills: mindfulness, composting, stillness, and propagation.

Cocoplum Nature Play guides children through storytime, crafting, and planting seeds — learning, in their own way, the earth-care we’re all here to practice.

Hello mindful community!

Our Family Mindfulness program is seeking activity providers for children ages 3-11 for our upcoming grant-funded year with the Children Services Council of Palm Beach County, starting October 2026.

Soil & Soul has opened a Request for Proposals (RFP).
We are looking for one year curriculums with activities for children that enhance child mental health through nature connection, mindfulness, healthy habits, respectful relationships, arts, play, and movement—all in environments free from screens and artificially sugared treats. The full proposal details, including submission instructions, are posted.

RFP Opening: Friday, July 24, 2026

RFP Closing: Friday, August 21, 2026

Selected Partners Announced: Friday, September 11, 2026

Contract Period: October 1, 2026 – September 30, 2027

Our theme for July & August is “The Power of No, The Power of Yes”

Healthy boundaries support a healthy life and healthy relationships. Healthy boundaries aren’t about changing someone else’s behavior.

They are about protecting our own mental, emotional, and physical well-being. But our boundaries affect other people as well. So a holistic boundary is a guide for our behavior, a guide that supports the common good.

Knowing when to say “no” is vital to healthy negative boundaries. Knowing when to say “yes” is also vital to healthy positive boundaries.

Do you have all the boundaries that you need to support yourself and others?

Summer circles are a chance to consider or reconsider our boundaries, for our good, and for the good of all.

🌱 What a morning at the City of Delray Beach’s Annual Community Resource Fair! 🌱

On Saturday, July 25th, Soil and Soul joined local organizations, nonprofits, government agencies, and service providers for this incredible one-stop resource event, connecting our neighbors with the tools they need to thrive — from health and housing to education, employment, and financial stability.

We loved being part of a day that brought our Delray Beach community together, not just to share resources, but to build real relationships and grow a stronger, more connected community. 💚

Grateful to the City of Delray Beach Neighborhood and Community Services Department for putting together such a meaningful event, and to everyone who stopped by our table to connect with us!
