Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to our everyday heroes! 🍎✨

Teachers are the backbone of our partner schools at Children of America (COA). But while they pour their hearts into shaping our children’s futures, many are fighting quiet battles of their own.

Here is the reality: 50% of applicants to our Rapid Response program are COA teachers. When unexpected crises hit, from medical emergencies to housing instability, it is our duty to step into the gap for the educators who give us so much. They show up for our kids every single day. We exist to show up for them. 💛

Three wheels. One mission. This Friday.

1 in 7 American children lives in poverty today. That’s 10.4 million kids whose earliest, most formative years are the most fragile. High quality early childhood education returns 13% per year in long-term outcomes, but the average family now spends $13,128 per child on childcare, and more than half the country lives in a childcare desert. The math is broken. The kids aren’t.

This Friday, every Children of America school is hosting a Trike-A-Thon, and every lap helps fund our Rapid Response and community grants for families and crisis. No child is left behind isn’t a slogan, it’s a commitment we pedal forward, one tiny revolution at a time.

When a family faces a crisis, the four pillars of a child’s world start to crumble. Without Housing, Food, Transportation, and Safety, a child’s brain is forced into survival mode, and their dreams are put on hold.

Our Rapid Response program acts as the ultimate structural support. We step in to secure these pillars so the ‘Launchpad’ remains solid.

Meet Ne’erica’s daughter. Her dream? To be a dentist. But 8months ago her house burnt down which threatened to pull her out of orbit. Her family lost everything: their home, their belongings, and even Ne’erica’s job.

When you’re starting over from scratch, survival is the only thing on your mind. But at the Pryor Family Foundation, we believe a crisis shouldn’t end a dream.

We provided the furniture and mental health support, sponsored by , this family needed to move from survival back to stability. Because of your support, this future dentist can keep her eyes on the stars. 🦷⭐️

A child’s brain is a precision instrument. But when a family hits a crisis such as housing loss, medical emergencies, or sudden instability, the brain enters Survival Mode.

Ted’s Target: The Cockpit. ⚡️✈️

As a boy, Ted dreamt of being a fighter pilot. Today, as CEO of Children of America and a Board Member of the Pryor Family Foundation, he’s still helping people reach new heights—by securing their launchpads.

You can’t achieve liftoff when weighed down by a family crisis. Last year, 54% of our applicants were teachers. We take care of our own so they can nurture the dreams of our children.

It takes $610 to provide a “Launchpad” for one child. Let’s keep their flight path clear.
