Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to our everyday heroes! šŸŽāœØ

Teachers are the backbone of our partner schools at Children of America (COA). But while they pour their hearts into shaping our childrenā€™s futures, many are fighting quiet battles of their own.

Here is the reality: 50% of applicants to our Rapid Response program are COA teachers. When unexpected crises hit, from medical emergencies to housing instability, it is our duty to step into the gap for the educators who give us so much. They show up for our kids every single day. We exist to show up for them. šŸ’›

To every teacher in the COA family: Thank you. We see you, we appreciate you, and we have your back.

Three wheels. One mission. This Friday.

1 in 7 American children lives in poverty today. Thatā€™s 10.4 million kids whose earliest, most formative years are the most fragile. High quality early childhood education returns 13% per year in long-term outcomes, but the average family now spends $13,128 per child on childcare, and more than half the country lives in a childcare desert. The math is broken. The kids arenā€™t.

This Friday, every Children of America school is hosting a Trike-A-Thon, and every lap helps fund our Rapid Response and community grants for families and crisis. No child is left behind isnā€™t a slogan, itā€™s a commitment we pedal forward, one tiny revolution at a time.

Stability isnā€™t just a conceptā€¦ itā€™s a structure. šŸ—ļøšŸš€

When a family faces a crisis, the four pillars of a childā€™s world start to crumble. Without Housing, Food, Transportation, and Safety, a childā€™s brain is forced into survival mode, and their dreams are put on hold.

Our Rapid Response program acts as the ultimate structural support. We step in to secure these pillars so the ā€˜Launchpadā€™ remains solid.

āœØ The Goal: $610 fully funds the stabilization of these four pillars for one family. Every dollar counts.

Meet Neā€™ericaā€™s daughter. Her dream? To be a dentist. But 8months ago her house burnt down which threatened to pull her out of orbit. Her family lost everything: their home, their belongings, and even Neā€™ericaā€™s job.

When youā€™re starting over from scratch, survival is the only thing on your mind. But at the Pryor Family Foundation, we believe a crisis shouldnā€™t end a dream.

We provided the furniture and mental health support, sponsored by , this family needed to move from survival back to stability. Because of your support, this future dentist can keep her eyes on the stars. šŸ¦·āļø

DID YOU KNOW? šŸ§ āœØ

A childā€™s brain is a precision instrument. But when a family hits a crisis such as housing loss, medical emergencies, or sudden instability, the brain enters Survival Mode.

In this state, the ā€˜dreamingā€™ and ā€˜learningā€™ part of the brain literally goes offline to make room for basic survival.

The Pryor Family Foundatjon provides the LaunchPad. Our Rapid Response program removes the weight of crisis so children can move back into Dreaming Mode.

It takes $610 to fully stabilize a childā€™s trajectory. Every dollar counts. Help us protect their bandwidth today.

Sean dreamt of being a Dad. ā¤ļø

Today, Sean is a father, the CFO of Children of America, and a Board Member for the Pryor Family Foundation. He is here because he had space to dream and the drive to grow into the man he wanted to be.

When a family hits a crisis, the ā€œchildhood dreamā€ is the first thing to disappear. Our Rapid Response program catches these families so parents can breath and kids can keep dreaming.

$610 moves one family from crisis to stability. Help us protect the dreams of our community.
