We wanted to share a special story that reminds us why voting accessibility matters!

Recently, members of the Braille Club of Palm Beach County were able to make their voices heard at the polls thanks to an incredible community effort! After learning about transportation and accessibility challenges, local organizations came together to help ensure these individuals could exercise their right to vote. 🇺🇸

A huge thank you to the Braille Club of Palm Beach County, Leadership Palm Beach County, Transdev North America, Palm Tran, the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections and State Representative Rob Long’s Office for helping make this possible!

We are so proud to have been part of this meaningful effort and grateful to everyone who helped make voting more accessible.

Your vote matters, and so does making sure it's recorded correctly!

If you're using a touchscreen voting machine this election, take a moment to carefully review your selections before printing your ballot. Then, double-check your printed ballot before submitting it!

Having trouble with the touchscreen or notice an error? Ask a poll worker for assistance. You can also request a paper ballot to mark by hand.

✅ Remember: Check your selections, review your ballot and vote with confidence!

Looking back at history to better understand the future of our democracy!🇺🇸

Last week we welcomed Professor Robert Watson, PhD, of Lynn University, as our guest speaker for our October Hot Topic Luncheon, “America 250: Is Democracy in Danger? An Historian’s Perspective and Predictions for Election Day.”

Dr. Watson explored 250 years of American history, offering historical perspectives on democracy, elections, the rule of law and the challenges facing our nation today.

Thank you to Dr. Watson and everyone who joined us for this timely and important discussion! 💙

Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. is the last day to request that a Vote-by-Mail ballot be mailed to you.

Visit VotePalmBeach.gov for more information and to request your ballot.

Remember: This is the deadline to request your ballot by mail, NOT the deadline to return your completed ballot.

There are 28 early voting locations across Palm Beach County and any eligible Palm Beach County voter can cast a ballot at any early voting location. They will be open every day from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Bring a current and valid photo and signature ID. Learn more at VotePalmBeach.gov.

Here are important dates/deadlines for this election:

🗳️ Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
🗳️ Deadline to request that a Vote-by-Mail ballot be mailed to you: Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
🗳️ Early Voting: Monday, October 19, through Sunday, November 1, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Celebrating student success and community impact!🎓

The League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County is thrilled to recognize Christian Holmes, Wilguere Choisilme and Yasmir McCleod, three Palm Beach State College students who each received a $2,500 scholarship through our inaugural scholarship program!

The scholarships were presented at the 2026 Election Expo, a free, nonpartisan event that welcomed more than 300 community members to connect with candidates and learn more about the upcoming election.

We are so proud to support these students and grateful to Palm Beach State College and Leadership Palm Beach County for their partnership in making this event a success! 💙
