We were honored to participate in the 12th Annual Homestead/Florida City WIC Health & Resource Fair, a fantastic community event that brought together more than 3,000 attendees and over 50 Miami-Dade health and wellness partners — including Nicklaus Children's Health System, University of Miami Health System, Baptist Health, Community Health of South Florida, Inc., and Healthy Start Coalition of Miami-Dade.

Green Cars for Kids proudly provided free rides to and from the event for families, helping ensure everyone could access the incredible resources and support available.

A huge thank you to Carla Sabugo, Dawn Fontus, and the entire -Dade County Women and Infants WIC team for organizing such a positive and impactful event! It’s inspiring to see our community come together to support family wellness and healthy futures. 🚗💚

We thought you might need some positive, uplifting downtime after tax day and overwhelming headlines. That’s why Green Cars for Kids & Climate Reality Project of North Broward & Palm Beach Counties are co-hosting a free virtual viewing of Mrs. Robinson. This short documentary is about the inspirational life story of change-maker Mary Robinson: Ireland’s first female President, a pioneering UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and the successor of Nelson Mandela as Chair of The Elders.

We hope this film will inspire you to join a cause that ensures the future of our democracy, our children, and our planet.

Green Cars for Kids provides free transportation to healthcare services for low-income children and expectant mothers using electric cars. Please support us and make sure every mother and child reaches their full potential while making our air cleaner.

Since our beginning in 2023, Our programs in Broward and Miami-Dade counties provided a combined 4,257 trips to healthcare, serving an average of 413 patients and their families per month.

Green Cars for Kids had fun hanging out with A-list fans at last Saturday's March for Babies. Thanks to the March of Dimes and Freebee for working with us to drive pregnant moms and babies to better health with electric vehicles. Excited to be celebrating our 1-year anniversary serving Broward County. With support like the Caped Crusader and princesses, we will continue tearing down transportation barriers to health!
