Moraine City First Church of God We are a group of believers brought together in fellowship and love to serve, worship and upbuild the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The church is used by God to evangelize the lost, equip the saved, minister to the needy, and to serve the community. It will be a joy to have you worship with us and we hope this will be the beginning of a great relationship between you, your family and the group of believers at Moraine City First Church of God. What We Believe
The Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of God. It is the basis of

the teachings of this congregation. God is the creator, sustainer, and ultimate judge of all creation. The world has been created for His glory and we can participate with His purposes as His adopted children. Jesus Christ is the fully human, fully divine incarnation of God who was born, crucified and resurrected as an example of our living as well as the substitute payment for our sin. The Holy Spirit is God in spirit form, active in the world today. He convicts of sin, convinces and comforts Christians and gives gifts to be used in his building of the Kingdom of God. Salvation occurs by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

Your pastor notices when you’re missing!

Not because he’s taking attendance.

Because he cares.

One of the beautiful things about being part of a church family is having a pastor who genuinely cares about the people God has entrusted to him.

When someone is absent, it’s not about keeping attendance or checking up on people. It’s about concern. When the pastor doesn’t see someone who is normally in their place, his heart naturally begins to wonder:

• Are they doing okay?
• Are they sick?
• Is there a need I can help with?
• Are they discouraged?
• How can I pray for them?

Our pastor spends time throughout the week praying, studying God’s Word, preparing messages, and caring for the congregation. He loves the people of this church and genuinely notices when someone is missing.

For that reason, the pastor asks everyone to please call or text if you know you will not be attending a service. A quick message letting him know you won’t be there helps tremendously. It eases concern, prevents unnecessary worry, and lets him know that you are okay.

Please don’t assume no one will notice. The pastor does notice, and he cares. If an unexpected situation arises and you cannot attend, take a moment to send a text or make a quick call. That simple act lets your pastor know there is no immediate cause for concern.

Being part of the body of Christ means staying connected and communicating with those who care for your spiritual well-being. Communication is an important part of that connection.
