We are grounded in faith. Every person has value and deserves love, grace and forgiveness. We are creating a new way to care for substance-exposed babies and their mothers. We are the first facility in Ohio and the second in the nation to offer in-patient, home-like approach to serving babies born exposed to addictive substanc

es. We strive for a spirit of humility. Our work takes courage and perseverance, but also grace. We are constantly learning and trying to grow; we do not have all the answers. Brigid’s Path takes prayerful, calculated risks. We serve with a clear intentional purpose: to help mothers and babies in the crisis of addiction and prenatal substance exposure. "We are not a lost cause," a mom told us. Most of her life, she had felt like someone everyone gave up on. And she might have given up on herself too, if not for her baby.

Being at Brigid's Path - waking up beside her daughter every day while they healed together - surrounded by love, encouragement, and second chances - gave her the courage to start over.

She just needed someone to believe in her. She just needed to believe it herself - no one is a lost cause.

Brigid’s Path is the only newborn recovery center in Ohio. We are dedicated to helping newborns experiencing withdrawal due to prenatal substance exposure. We provide compassionate, specialized inpatient care in a calm, home‑like environment where babies can heal and families can find hope.

We also walk alongside moms, dads, and caregivers as they work toward stability and connection. Our team partners with hospitals, agencies, and community organizations across the Miami Valley to ensure every child has the strongest possible start.

We could not do this important work without our Patient Care Assistants 🩷💜💙 June 10-17 is National Nursing Assistant (PCA) Week, and we wanted to take a moment to recognize everything they do for us.

PCAs work side-by-side with nurses caring for our babies, helping feed, change, console and love the little ones in our care. They make our team stronger, and provide a steady, reassuring presence for the families who depend on us.

These caregivers deserve so much more than one week of recognition! Thank you for keeping us on track, for jumping in whenever you’re needed, and for making Brigid’s Path a home away from home for our families! 🫶
