Our work strengthening children’s behavioral health care is making UC Davis headlines! This announcement highlights our Resource Center for Family-Focused Practice, which secured funding from the California Department of Health Care Services to serve as a center of excellence for High-Fidelity Wraparound. Read more about this work and the impact of funding across UC Davis below.

The University of California, Davis, received $953 million in external research awards in the fiscal year 2025-26, supporting a broad range of research to enhance lives through advancements in healthcare, food supply, energy solutions, education and more.

The overall amount received is similar to the previous year, down slightly by $8 million (0.8%), but the contributions by source have shifted. As usual, federal sources provided the majority of funding, totaling $496 million, up $46 million (10%) from the previous year.

We’re seeking presenters to share their approaches, experiences and lessons learned at the 2027 CQI Statewide Conference! Submit a workshop proposal focused on collaboration, leadership, data, strategic priorities or taking action to improve practice. We especially encourage ideas focused on Tribal engagement in CQI and CQI in probation. Our team can help you develop your idea, connect with collaborators and prepare to lead a 75-minute workshop. UC Davis Human Services Northern Academy team members Emma and Joanne spent the week in Arlington, Virginia presenting at the Transformational Collaborative Outcomes Management (TCOM) Conference. They teamed up with partners from different organizations to share our CFT and IP-CANS training, technical assistance and fidelity tools. The conference brought opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the country and squeeze in a little sightseeing!
