Some rivalries are too good to let a schedule get in the way.
This year, Notre Dame and USC won't meet on the football field — so we're taking the rivalry to the golf course for a cause that matters far more than any final score. On Thursday, November 19, 2026, alums and friends from both schools will come together at Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena for the inaugural Rivalry for Hope golf challenge to benefit brain cancer research.
Two legendary rivals, one shared mission. We're competing against each other while fighting for the same cause — funding the research that will help end brain cancer once and for all. Every dollar raised supports two programs working side by side:
The Molly Hahn and Rebecca Pflueger Memorial Fund, supporting the Hahn-Pflueger Brain Cancer Scholars Program at Notre Dame's Harper Cancer Research Institute
USC's Brain Tumor Center at Keck Medicine of USC
We're also beyond excited to announce Ketel One and Kennedy Wilson as our presenting sponsors for the tournament.
The format: 36 foursomes total — 18 on Notre Dame's side and 18 on USC's — for a full shotgun-start tournament, followed by dinner and a paddle-raise auction. Foursomes are $2,000 ($500 per player), and spots are limited, so gather your group and secure your place today.
