Each level had lots of fun at last nights meeting.

Pathfinders with some candy corn bingo after their lesson

Tenderhearts working on Toys & Games badge- paper boat making, coloring paper dolls, & crafting a clothes pin doll.

Explorers were also being creative with the arts & crafts badge- basket weaving, yarn art, and stencils painting.

PiPa's were learning a card game for the Toys & Games badge. Euchre I believe is the game pictured.

Service Project- Operation Christmas Child

This beautiful program allows us to fill a simple shoe box with items & it gets shipped to a boy or girl who could benefit from it across the world.

The girls will each get a box to fill.
If you'd like to help us fill these 50 boxes (or more we'd love to be able to!) please send us a message, we will happily take any donations to put in the boxes or monetary donations to purchase items for the boxes.

Fall Campout/Day Trip was a success. Camping is such a fun one for the girls and their adults to go on. This allows the girls to connect with nature, build friendships within the troop with all levels, work towards outdoor badges & just explore & be kids!

🔥 Smores, singing & lots of laughs were had

We have kicked off our fundraising for AHG. Fundraising is so essential to allow our troop to do activities, purchase items for badges, scholarships for registration/uniforms, purchasing badges, etc. Fundraising & donations allows us to keep costs low for families.

🍕We currently have our St. Giuseppe Pizza fundraiser going on, you can connect with any AHG girl to get your order in, or send us a message & we will get your order taken- pizzas are 12in & come im Sausage, Pepperoni, Cheese, & The Bobby Bread. You can also purchase $25 gift cards.
💵Orders are due 10/12/26
🗓️pizzas will be ready to pick up from AHG girl on/after 10/19/26.

🌲We are also doing Wreaths Across America. This will also pair as service project, since we can help lay wreaths on the Rock Island Arsenal gravesites on December 19th.

This will be our 3rd year helping with the Be the Light Christmas Meal.
This is one of the Girls Service Projects. Be on the look out for more information to come on what food items we will specifically be collecting for th Christmas meal.

The meal includes everything needed to make a complete family meal, including cooked meat from Strickly Southern Catering with reheating instructions.

We never want a family to have to decide between eating a meal on Christmas or being able to purchase few gifts.🎁

My how the times flies! We are already in September!

The 2026 Light of Hope Backpack Program was a huge success, providing 500 bags of weekend foods to students in the QCA...breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
Thank you to everyone who gave of their time and treasure to make it possible and to be a blessing to these littles ones.

We have hit the time of year where we are shifting our attention to our 𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞!

It may seem a little early, but gathering the resources to provide the food for full Christmas meals for what will be at least 150 families is not a short term endeavor.

𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐮𝐬 as we will be putting up information for how you can be involved in blessing these families, during this most wonderful time of the year.

Thank you all for your patience tonight!!
As the year progresses, we will get into a rhythm and it will be less chaotic.

Adding Trail Life to the mix makes it more challenging, but we made it through tonight.

We will be getting in touch via Facebook, sending out text messages, or emailing you directly for bulk uniform ordering information, getting signed up, registering everyone.

Thankfully we don’t have a meeting on Labor Day next Monday so we can get all questions answered.

So keep an eye out for updates!!!
