QC Youth

09/29/2026

Starting this Sunday (Caramel Apple Day), the “QC Youth Store” will be open! Students will earn “QC Youth Bucks” by saying Scriptures, bringing friends, winning competitions, sharing the gospel, helping clean, behaving in church, etc. Then they can spend their Bucks on small prizes or save them up for bigger prizes!

Looking forward to using QC Bucks to motivate students to learn Scripture and reach their peers!

Also, if anyone wants to donate some really big prizes that won’t be a pain to store (like a big fancy LEGO set, a new baseball mitt or bat, or a camera that prints photos), so they will have even loftier prizes to earn, reach out to us, and that would be really neat and appreciated.

Lastly, a special thank you to all of the students who helped me with ideas of what to put in the store. 🙂 (Who knew that Mini Brands was such a big thing?)

This Sunday, we have 2-on-2 basketball tournaments! We'll also be providing "free concessions" for the teens during the games. So, come to church at 11, bring some gym clothes, and stay for a time of fun! The Bible lesson afterwards will be on practical things to do to be part of full-time ministry in the future. So, any teen that is interested in potentially being in ministry (as a full-time job), you won't want to miss this weeks' lesson. And for those who aren't planning on doing that, there is still a lot of practical advice for being a Christian involved in your local church - which every Christian ought to be. (Pictures are a throwback to when one of our students - aka Nemo - won his basketball game!)

We went horseback riding today! I want to thank our multiple donors who made it possible for everyone who wanted to go to be able to. If you’re in the QC area and you have a middle/high school student, be sure to have them be part of QC Youth!
