On Friday, October 2nd, nearly 150 Central orchestra, band, and Cultural Diversity Club students had the opportunity to listen to a motivational presentation and music performance by Thomas Sauer. Mr. Sauer attended Central High School before being recruited by the Philadelphia Conservatory for his musical genius on the piano. In his presentation, he encouraged students to follow their dreams and passions. He emphasized that he understands their apprehensions and perspectives as he once sat where they are today. Thank you to Mr. Sauer for bringing his talent and inspiration to our students, and thank you to Ms. Elledge for all her hard work in bringing him to our PAC.
