Community members can pick up free potatoes at the loading dock of Cosgrove Hall at St. Ambrose University (518 W. Locust St., Davenport) while supplies last.

Instacart is partnering with Feeding America to host a Community Carts campaign.

Shop online for some of our most needed items. After you have selected your items, click check out and within 5 days River Bend Food Bank will receive your donation.

All delivery and service fees are completely waived, and an Instacart shopper will deliver the donated groceries straight to the food bank.

We're honored to receive a 40,000-pound food donation from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in collaboration with America250 as part of America’s 250th anniversary celebration.

This incredible gift will help stock shelves, support our partner agencies and provide nutritious food to individuals and families across our 23-county service area.

Feeding families should not be up for debate.

Up to 250,000 Illinoisans are at risk of losing their SNAP benefits due to federal changes to the program—putting them at immediate risk of hunger.

The Illinois budget will be finalized NEXT WEEK and we're asking lawmakers to protect families cut off from SNAP with two programs to provide timely relief to households that have lost this lifeline benefit because of federal changes.

☀️ Summer EBT (SUN Bucks) are here! 🍎

Families can receive $120 per eligible school-aged child to help buy groceries during the summer when school is out.

SUN Bucks can be used at grocery stores, some farmers markets, and other authorized retailers to purchase food for your family this summer.

Choose Iowa connects Iowans to local food sources.

Through a 1:1 match program, all six Iowa food banks share $200,000 to purchase food directly from Iowa farmers.

In 2025, River Bend Food Bank received $33,000 through the program to purchase from Choose Iowa farmers.

Our most purchased item – cheese curds and shredded cheese from Cinnamon Ridge Farms!

Cinnamon Ridge Farms is a family-owned farm in Donahue, IA, owned by John and Joan Maxwell, who are great supporters of River Bend.

We’re proud to partner with farmers who help nourish our communities.
