Service is more than something our C5 Leaders do, it’s part of who they are.

During the Road to College Tour, our leaders partnered with the BCS Habitat for Humanity ReStore to support their mission of strengthening communities and creating opportunities for families. Working side by side, they experienced firsthand how leadership, teamwork, and service can make a meaningful impact.

This stop is always a highlight of the tour because it reflects what it means to be a C5 Leader: Character-Driven, Community-Focused, Challenge-Ready, College and Career-Bound, and Committed to Building a Better Future for themselves and others.

As our leaders prepare for success in college, careers, and beyond, they are also learning that true leadership means giving back, lifting others up, and investing in the communities they serve.

Road to College: University of Texas Edition

Another exciting step on the road to college journey! C5 Leaders toured The University of Texas at Austin and got a firsthand look at its vibrant campus, academic opportunities, and student life.

From exploring campus landmarks to learning about programs and traditions, this visit helped me envision what the next chapter could look like. Every tour brings me closer to finding the perfect place to learn, grow, and succeed.

Road to College: Texas A&M Edition

Another stop on the college tour journey! Today our C5 Leaders had the opportunity to visit Texas A&M University and experience its rich traditions, beautiful campus, and welcoming community.

From exploring academic programs to walking through campus landmarks, this visit provided valuable insight into what life as an Aggie could be like. Every campus tour brings our Leaders one step closer to finding the right college fit!

C5 Leaders took on Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi with a self-guided campus tour and scavenger hunt!

Throughout the day, C5 Leaders explored campus, discovered key student resources, and got a firsthand look at life as an Islander. One of the highlights was connecting with C5 alumna Cally, who is currently attending Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and is set to graduate in 2027. Hearing about her college journey, experiences on campus, and advice for future college students made the visit even more meaningful.

Seeing a fellow C5 alum thriving in college reminded our Leaders that their goals are within reach. Thank you, Cally, for sharing your story and inspiring the next generation of C5 leaders!

From Rice's renowned academic excellence and tight-knit residential college community to UH's vibrant diversity, innovation, and deep connections to one of America's most dynamic cities, our C5 Leaders had the opportunity to experience the very best of higher education.

Our C5 Leaders had the opportunity to explore campus life, learn about academic programs, and experience the rich legacy of excellence, leadership, and culture that makes PVAMU so special. From engaging conversations to envisioning future possibilities, this visit was another powerful step on the journey toward higher education and personal growth.
