Wings Foundation was honored to have several representatives attend the 2026 Kiwi Convention, “Fiesta Flight Royale – Nacho Ordinary Convention.”

Kiwis from across the country gathered for a week of friendship and philanthropy. The convention also celebrated several important milestones, including the 30th anniversary of Wings Foundation as the National Endeavor, the 25th anniversary of 9/11, and the 50th anniversary for classes of 1975–76.

We are especially grateful for the support shown through the silent auction benefiting Wings Foundation. This event helped raise awareness and support for flight attendants facing times of need.

Thank you to the Kiwi community for your continued generosity and commitment to flight attendants helping flight attendants.

Whether they're answering questions, sharing information about Wings, or helping Flight Attendants enroll in payroll giving, these volunteers are helping keep our mission alive at the base level.

This month, we’re proud to recognize Geoff for more than two decades of dedication to Wings Foundation!

Geoff has been a Wings volunteer since 2003 and currently serves as Secretary. Over the years, he has held many impactful roles including as a caseworker, Term Director at multiple bases, Disaster Relief Advisory Director, and Growth & Development Director. During his time in Disaster Relief, he helped support more than 150 flight attendants impacted by Superstorm Sandy, providing critical assistance during an incredibly difficult time. He also played a key role in expanding Wings throughout the Legacy US Airways bases.

“What I like most about helping with Wings is that it brings some humanity back into an industry that can often feel chaotic and overwhelming. When someone is struggling, Wings reminds people they’re not dealing with it alone, and I’m proud to play a small part in that.”

Today, we’re honored to share Clayton’s story and the impact Wings Foundation had during one of the most difficult times in his life. 💙

After experiencing a serious back injury, Clayton’s life changed overnight. Between doctor visits, physical therapy, exhausted sick time, and dwindling savings, the financial stress quickly became overwhelming.

Encouraged by a close coworker, Clayton reached out to Wings Foundation for support — and found compassion, empathy, and help when he needed it most.

His story is a reminder that no Flight Attendant should face hardship alone, and that Flight Attendants helping Flight Attendants truly makes a difference.

Thank you, Clayton, for sharing your journey and allowing us to stand beside you during your recovery. Your resilience and gratitude embody the heart of Wings Foundation.
