Worldwide, at least 40 million youth ages 13-15 use to***co products. This is why early prevention matters.

To***co products are often marketed in ways that appeal to young people and make them seem “cool.” Education can help youth understand the dangers of to***co use, avoid addiction, and make informed choices that support their long-term health.

Since the beginning of Brighter Days, we have opened our CBSG® sessions by inviting youth to share their Sunshine and Cloud. ☀️☁️

A Sunshine is something that makes them feel happy and a cloud is something that makes them feel sad, worried, or mad.

This simple activity helps young people feel heard from the very start of group and creates space for honest conversation and connection.

What is your Sunshine and Cloud today? ⬇️

Earlier this week, Brighter Days was proud to bring together members of our Board of Directors and Young Professionals Board for a meaningful afternoon of connection, collaboration, and shared commitment to our mission. 💫

By engaging our next generation of community leaders alongside our governing board, we are creating opportunities for mentorship, leadership development, and deeper impact throughout North Texas.

We are excited to continue integrating our Young Professionals Board into organizational leadership opportunities and look forward to growing this partnership in the months ahead!

A special moment from this year’s Pot of Gold Luncheon continues to shine. ✨

Students at Thomas Tolbert Elementary School joined us for the event, got to go on stage, and left a lasting impression on everyone in the room.

As their counselor, Ms. Mendy, shared, staff immediately noticed a difference in the boys after they had the opportunity to dress professionally and take part in such a meaningful day. The confidence and pride they felt did not end when the event was over.

We are so grateful to Thomas Tolbert Elementary , Dallas ISD, Wellpoint, and The Dresscode Line for helping create a moment that planted seeds of confidence and possibility for our youth.

In the face of the ongoing youth mental health crisis, takes on a deeper significance.

At Brighter Days, (formerly Rainbow Days), we make it a priority to uplift youth by nurturing their social and emotional well-being through our CBSG® program, which helps youth build healthy coping skills, strengthen resilience, and form positive connections with peers and trusted adults.
