A heartfelt thank-you to Julia Santosuosso for this week's wonderful tour of the Mary Kay Museum and the opportunity to learn more about MARY KAY’s inspiring history and philanthropic legacy. We also were delighted by an impromptu visit with Mary Kay Ash Foundation board members Michael Lunceford and Allison Levy, as well as longtime CSCNT friend Lucy Gildea.

We look forward to growing our partnership through the upcoming CSCNT lunch and learn, the MK5K and our shared commitment to supporting those impacted by cancer in our community.

A fun find during the tour was a display with the CSCNT 2022 Thrive Award given to the Foundation at our Red Tie Gala.

CSCNT Development team members participating included Development Director Tracie Owen, Communications & Marketing Manager Angela Chambers, and Development Manager Marissa Zabel.

This North Texas Giving Day, you can help ensure that no one has to carry the weight of cancer alone. Your gift provides free support, meaningful connections and hope to people like Jaritza throughout North Texas.

This week we're welcoming Amanda Hair, Licensed Master Social Worker, to the CSCNT team as the Program Manager! She previously was an intern with CSCNT and is excited to return. Amanda also has worked with multiple children and families organizations, including a focus on mental health, which provides her with a strong clinical foundation facilitating support groups, conducting psychosocial assessments, providing crisis support, and building trusting relationships with clients.

"I have seen first-hand just how important the work is at CSCNT and how impactful what we do is in people's lives," Amanda shares. "I want to be a part of an organization where you are making a positive impact for someone who may be facing a tough time, and CSCNT is a great place to do just that."

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys traveling, hiking and anything where she can be outdoors (when it's below 90 degrees!). She also enjoys baking and spending time with friends and family.

Join us in giving Amanda a warm welcome!
