Adventure is calling!

The Friends of the Crown Point Library are excited to announce THREE unforgettable travel tours for 2027 through Collette Tours.

Join us for a special travel presentation on Wednesday, August 12 at 6 p.m. at the Crown Point Library to learn about:
• Tropical Costa Rica
• Shades of Ireland
• Canyon Country

Representatives from Collette Tours and All About Vacations will be available to answer questions and help you start planning your next adventure.

Registration is not required, but appreciated.

📣 Volunteers Needed for Summer Reading Kick-Off! 📣

We are looking for volunteers to help at the Library's Summer Reading Kick-Off Celebration on Thursday, June 11, at Bulldog Park!

This year's theme, "Unearth A Story," promises an exciting afternoon of family fun, reading, and discovery. Community families will join us to celebrate the start of Summer Reading with activities including:

🦕 Adopt-A-Dinosaur
⛏️ Fossil Dig
🏰 Bounce Houses
🎨 Face Painting
📚 Summer Reading Registration
💳 Library Card Sign-Up
✨ And much more!

Volunteers are needed between 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. and will assist at the Friends of the Library table, share membership information, answer questions, or assist library staff with activity stations throughout the event. Volunteers can sign up for the entire event or a shorter shift.

This is one of the library's biggest events of the year, and your support helps create a fun, welcoming experience for local families while promoting literacy and lifelong learning in our community.

The Friends of the Crown Point Library are looking for volunteers to help with upcoming library events. Whether you can give a couple of hours or an evening, your help makes a difference.

𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱!
𝗔𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻-𝗨𝗽 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲
Help greet adults in the library lobby, share information about the Adult Summer Reading program, and encourage sign-ups.

Available shifts:
• Monday, June 1: 9–11 a.m. or 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
• Tuesday, June 2: 1–3 p.m. or 3–5 p.m.
• Wednesday, June 3: 5–7 p.m.

This treasured handmade quilt is rich in craftsmanship and family history, and we are honored to share it with our community.
