The General Services Administration (GSA) of the United States Gov't in 1971 decided to sell to the public surplus found Morgan Dollars in the Treasury Vaults. These Morgan Dollars became known as the GSA Hoard Morgan Dollars. GSA Hoard Morgan Dollars come in a black presentation box with a small informational paper. GSA Hoard Morgan Dollars are always a great numismatic item and are absolutely stunning. This is because almost all GSA Hoard Morgan Dollars are in Brillant Uncirculated Condition.
