HISTORY GUIDED TOUR ACROSS
LAKE CHAMPLAIN BRIDGE

Sunday, September 25th at 1:00 PM

$6.00 for adults
Free for children under 15
Includes admission to the museums of the Crown Point State Historic Site in NY and the Chimney Point State Historic Site in Vermont.

Enjoy a guided history walk across the Lake Champlain Bridge starting at the Chimney Point State Historic Site in Vermont. Allow at least three hours for this walk back and forth across the bridge where you will experience amazing views of the many historic features at and around these two historic sites.

Participants will enjoy the views and learn about the nearly 9,000 years of human history at this important and beautiful location on Lake Champlain. The channel here with its peninsulas, or points, on each side made this one of the most strategic spots on Lake Champlain for the Native Americans for millennia, and for the French, British, and early Americans in the 17th and 18th centuries.
