Green Dot GC/KY

Green Dot GC/KY Building a safer Cincy/NKY through simple, everyday actions. Join the effort to stop bullying, dating violence, sexual assault, & stalking.

Green Dot GC/KY works with high schools, colleges, and community members in the Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Buffalo Trace areas to reduce violence. We know that in our community and schools, violence is happening and the numbers are way too high. Every time someone uses their words, choices, and behaviors to contribute to violence in our community, a red dot is added to our map. The

idea behind Green Dot is to counteract those red dots & outnumber them with our Green Dots. A green dot is intervening in a high risk situation or looking at for friends at a party or bar. A green dot is doing anything to spread the green dot message - posting a status update, wearing green dot gear, or bringing a Green Dot training to your student or community group. A green dot is simply your individual choice at any given moment to make your school and/or community safer. Now let's go change the world with our green dots! If you are experiencing violence and need help, please call 800.928.3335 in Northern Kentucky or 800.928.6708 in the Buffalo Trace region.

Here are just a few Green Dots you can make that we thought would be Kinda Chic!

A Green Dot can be as simple as wearing a pin on your bag or as big as intervening when you spot an instance of harm in your school, at a bar, or even at home. No one has to do everything, but everyone can do something.

Show us your Green Dot and follow for more tips and info!
