Camco Chemical and RSA Properties, LLC have announced plans to construct a new 130,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center at Camco’s existing campus in Independence. The new facility will expand Camco’s fulfillment and distribution capacity, strengthen its supply chain capabilities and provide additional infrastructure to support continued growth.

Camco Chemical, a third-generation, family-owned company that began in Fort Thomas more than 65 years ago, continues to serve customers across a wide range of markets, including consumer household goods and institutional, commercial and industrial products.

BE NKY Growth Partnership and Spotted Yeti Media created "A Life Built Here" in partnership with Northern Kentucky universities, companies, organizations, residents and actors to showcase the people and experiences behind the numbers. A new pilot program is bringing together Lloyd Memorial High School, Legion Logistics, LLC, Supply Chain OKI (SCOKI)/Career Aspirations, Northern Kentucky Area Development District (NKADD), NaviGo Prep at Learning Grove, and BE NKY Growth Partnership for an innovative initiative designed to prepare students for rewarding careers in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, and related industries!

Communications Specialist Sydney Murray is celebrating her four-year anniversary with BE NKY Growth Partnership!

Through articles, social media content, newsletters, blog posts, award nominations, and more, Sydney helps share BE NKY’s story by highlighting the organization’s accomplishments and the many exciting things happening across Northern Kentucky.

This past year, she was also honored to lead BE NKY’s Adopt A Class team, where staff members mentored second-grade students in a Covington classroom each month, helping inspire and support the next generation.

Research Analyst Ashby Drummond is celebrating his two-year anniversary at BE NKY Growth Partnership!

Over the past year, Ashby has led development of both the Northern Kentucky Entrepreneurship Impact Study with TPMA and BE NKY’s Northern Kentucky Economy in Review, and he was recently one of only 52 people accepted into the 2027 Leadership Northern Kentucky Class by the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce!

Kimberly Rossetti is celebrating seven years with BE NKY Growth Partnership!

Since joining the organization in August 2019, she has led BE NKY’s economic development team in attracting new businesses to Northern Kentucky and supporting the growth and expansion of existing primary industry employers, resulting in 130 projects, more than $2 billion in capital investment and 10,570 new jobs announced.

Congratulations, Kimberly, on seven years of leadership, partnership, and impact in Northern Kentucky!

BE NKY was proud to recently honor Clareo Biosciences with our Growth Award, which recognizes companies that locate or expand their business in the Northern Kentucky region.

Last year, Clareo moved into the LifeSciKY lab at the OneNKY Center in downtown Covington. Founded by Melissa Smith, Clareo developed a genomic technology that sequences DNA and analyzes RNA expression to create a detailed profile of a person’s immune system.

This profile can then be used to assess how they may respond to specific therapies, evaluate their risk of developing autoimmune conditions, and estimate the likelihood of benefiting from cancer immunotherapy.
