Tearte, PhD, and current chapter members; Executive Director, Soror Anjylla Foster, PhD, and Soror Lillian Tearte with the passing of Omega Psi Phi Brother Mr. Curtis H. It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Curtis H. Tearte, J.D., a successful businessman, philanthropist and beloved husband of our dear Past International President, Jylla Moore Tearte, Ph.D. Curtis was a respected member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, whose lifetime of service to community has left a lasting impact. Curtis was also the proud father of two daughters, Cherice Barr and Dr. Anjylla Foster, Executive Director and COO of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
We extend our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to his family, loved ones, fraternity brothers and the many others upon whose lives left an indelible mark. Curtis’s kindness, strength, and unwavering commitment touched the lives of many. His legacy of love, brotherhood, and service will forever inspire us. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his family find comfort in the love and memories they shared.
