A Glimpse of Hope & Healing from the Heart of a Widow

A Glimpse of Hope & Healing from the Heart of a Widow A Glimpse of Hope & Healing is a support system for Widows and those whose learning to grieve, feel the pain, hurt,be healed, and learn to live with hope again.

A glimpse of hope was birthed out of me becoming a young widow at the age of 39, with 3 young daughters & a 2 year old grand daughter it was one of the most trying times of my life, because 2 years prior my mother passed & I had not even come to terms with that, and when my husband passed I knew I had to learn how to deal with the process of life, death, grief, hurt and then the healing would and

did began, it didn't happen over night but when it came I knew it and in return I want to give back to those who are going through those most difficult and trying times in life, with God on our side we can make it through anything if we put our total and complete trust in him and allow him to lead ,guide and direct us even in the most difficult of times.

There will be days when you smile and feel the wind of hope, then in the same breath tears will fall like a waterfall, but don’t give up hope and faith God will give you just what you need to make it through.

As we get closer to Christmas Day let’s not forget those who will be without their loved ones sitting at the table who are no longer with us, while our smiles show our outside appearance no one can see the struggles and tears on the inside, everyone grieves differently but missing those who are no longer with us is a forever lasting memory.

Call, text, message someone just to say I’m thinking about you today, you don’t have to use big fancy words, or even if you don’t know what to say, sometimes it’s the little things that mean so much to us doing these times.

Post a picture of your special loved one (s) and a special memory, our table may be different but our memories are still the same🎄

These are my 4 heart beats dad, mom, husband and great grand love, I miss them with every beat of my heart.

This is the scripture the Lord gave me when my husband passed 20 plus years ago and it still blesses and strengthens my heart today.

Seasons of Change:
Just like the changing of the seasons so it is with us, summer is full of so much fun and excitement,as fall starts peaking in so does our mental season changes as well, life begins to slow down a bit, it starts getting dark earlier, it’s time to pull out the jackets, turn on the heat and the holidays are flooded with memories.
Grief has a way of reminding us that I’m still here no matter how long it’s been, but I’ve learned to embrace the tears and laughter and tell myself it’s ok, until the next time.🦋

Coming in a little late this evening,
Becoming a widow at 39, a single mother of 3 young daughters and a two year old grand daughter all at once, it was not what we had planned, we thought our lives were just getting started, but God had another plan it will be 23 years this September and I still love and miss you like it was yesterday.
I’m thankful and blessed for the time and love we had together it will never be forgotten and I would do it all over again. Always & Forever Us ❤️
