Mr. McDowell was tragically found deceased this morning in a wooded area near the Monte Casino neighborhood. Our condolences are with his family. Foul play is not suspected. We thank our partner agencies for their extensive search efforts.

Missing Person – Information Requested

The Covington Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Carol S. Groves, who has been missing since December 20, 2025.

Carol is 5'4" tall and weighs approximately 120 pounds. She was last seen in the area of John Street in Covington, KY. At the time, she was wearing pajama pants, pink Crocs, and was wrapped in a blanket.

At this time, Carol is not considered critically missing; however, officers are attempting to locate her to ensure her well-being.
