OUR PROGRAMS
Food Program
More than 1,000 families each month ease financial hardship by shopping at Be Concerned. Through our food program, groceries and toiletries are distributed weekly to low-income families at no charge. Individual selection of goods are important aspects of the program. Thrift Stores
Customers have the opportunity to shop year-round for gently used clothing and accessories. Special effort is made to provide children with school supplies and winter coats. More than 100,000 items are distributed annually, with most priced at just 50 cents. Customers also have the opportunity to shop for used housewares. Christmas Store
Once the foundation of Be Concerned, the Christmas Store thrives as one of our most rewarding programs for customers, staff, and volunteers. More than 1,000 families participate each year. No charge is required for toys, holiday food, grocery items and health and hygiene products distributed through the Christmas Store. Senior Delivery
On a monthly basis we will deliver pantry items to seniors or disabled individuals that are unable to come to the food pantry.
