|| Cooperstown CSD Provides Update on Preliminary Review to Support Future Planning

Cooperstown Central School District is providing an update on a preliminary review currently underway to better understand district programs, operations, facilities, staffing structures and student supports.

As part of the process, consultants met with more than 60 staff members and continue to review district documents and data to develop a comprehensive picture of current conditions.

The review remains an information-gathering process, and no decisions about future changes have been made.

Congratulations to our Cooperstown Hawkeyes who were recognized as 2026 Center State Conference Division III Outdoor Track & Field All-Stars following an outstanding spring season!

These honors reflect the dedication, hard work and success our student-athletes demonstrated throughout the season. Congratulations to all of our Hawkeyes on an outstanding year representing Cooperstown Central School!

After studying "Driving While Black" in English 11 Honors, students in Mrs. Burk-Sciallo's class had the opportunity to have a Q&A with the author, Gretchen Sorin.

Yimdrulk Gyamtso and Loki Gabriels stayed after to take a photo and to tell Gretchen that her book was impactful to their learning.

⚾ Hawkeyes Baseball Postseason Awards

Congratulations to the Cooperstown Hawkeyes baseball team on an outstanding 2026 season that saw the program take another step forward both on and off the field.

Following a strong campaign that ended with an appearance in the Section III Class C Semifinals, several Hawkeyes earned postseason recognition from the Center State Conference.

In addition, Head Coach Matt Hulbert was selected as the Center State Conference Division II Coach of the Year after guiding the Hawkeyes to a remarkable turnaround season.

After finishing 7-7 in 2025, Cooperstown posted a 12-4 record this spring and advanced to the Section III Class C Semifinals.

Congratulations to Coach Hulbert and all of our Hawkeyes on a successful season and well-deserved honors!
