🎶 Auditions for Junior High Musical Sept. 9 and 11!

Auditions for this year's Junior High Musical – How to Train Your Dragon, Jr. – will be held after school on Wednesday, Sept. 9, and Friday, Sept. 11, from 3:00-4:30 p.m. All 7th and 8th graders are eligible to participate! Interested students should see Mrs. Hogle in the band room on Tuesday, Sept. 8, to pick up audition materials.

Due to scheduling conflicts and the general end-of-the-school-year craziness, we are canceling our FOMA meeting scheduled for this Thursday, June 4th. Please keep an eye out for meetings beginning again in the Fall!

Is your child interested in camp or lessons in art or music this summer? If so, they can apply for a FoMA Scholarship!

Students in the Cooperstown School District completing grades K-12 in June are eligible to apply for financial assistance made possible by FOMA (Friends of Music & Art in Cooperstown) to attend summer educational programs (camps or group/private lessons) in:
- Instrumental Music
- Vocal Music
- Visual Arts
- Writing
- Theatre
- Dance

The award, up to $500, will be made payable to the program the student will be attending. The application deadline for summer programs is this Monday, June 1, 2026.

|| CCS Thespians Present the 2026 Hawkeye R***e, Aspects of Love, on April 18 and 19

The Cooperstown Central School Thespians present the 2026 Hawkeye R***e, Aspects of Love, this weekend!

Join us Saturday, April 18, at 7 p.m. or Sunday, April 19, at 5 p.m. for an evening of Broadway songs examining the highs and lows, ins and outs, and ups and down of love! Both shows will be held in the NJ Sterling Auditorium at Cooperstown Junior/Senior High School.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Support from community members, and partnerships with fellow local community organizations, makes this kind of diverse cultural programming possible at the Cooperstown Central School District.

FoMA was delighted to work with Cooperstown Concerts to bring the Cerus Quartet to perform for the CCS elementary school students today. This award-winning jazz quartet enthralled students with a variety of lively songs, followed by a Q&A session.

The Cerus Quartet performs tonight at the Fenimore Art Museum and a few tickets remain available. We highly recommend going to see them perform!
