This past weekend, JOY International’s Jenn Jordan led a Lunch & Learn for ministry staff from eight organizations across Belize. One of JOY’s core areas of work in Belize is encouraging and equipping those serving vulnerable individuals and those recovering from trafficking.

Together, caregivers and leaders explored how dissociation, a common trauma response, can affect those they serve and learned practical ways to respond with greater understanding and care. The group also reflected on the importance of rest and found encouragement in connecting with others who share a similar calling.

SOAR 2026 was an incredible evening, and we want to sincerely thank everyone who joined us.

It was inspiring to see so many people come together in support of JOY International’s mission. The evening was filled with meaningful connection, generosity, and a shared commitment to bringing hope and freedom to vulnerable women and girls around the world.

Thanks to your generosity, we reached 98% of our fundraising goal in support of programs in Uganda, Nepal, and Belize. These funds will help provide critical care, education, advocacy, and ongoing support for those we serve.
