At Speakers for Africa, we believe helping students goes beyond providing school facilities, clean water, sanitation, and educational materials. It also means showing up, spending time together, listening, laughing, dancing, and building genuine relationships with the students and communities we serve.

We had a wonderful time celebrating the end of term with the students at Exodus Primary School. Moments like these remind us that meaningful change is built through connection, respect, and community.

We don’t just support the students we help — we engage with them.

Excited for movie night!

Getting ready for MOVIE NIGHT at Exodus Primary School in Kampala, Uganda!

Sometimes making a difference means creating moments where kids can simply be kids.

For many of these students, watching a popular movie together on a good projector is a special treat. The chairs are coming out, the projector is getting set up, and the excitement is building.

At Speakers for Africa, our work goes beyond improving classrooms, sanitation, clean water, and educational resources. We also believe childhood should include fun, laughter, friendship, and memories.

Tonight, it’s movie time!

Help us continue creating opportunities—and joyful moments—for children in Uganda.

Your support is creating real, measurable change for students in Uganda.

Over the past several months, Speakers for Africa has continued working directly with schools and local communities to improve sanitation, clean water, education, and safer learning environments.

At Rwakobo Primary School, we returned to expand the boys’ urinal and complete additional foundation repairs to the four-stall pit latrine we built in 2025. Since these improvements, student attendance has increased by 30%—a powerful reminder that something as basic as a safe bathroom can directly affect a child’s ability to attend school.

At Exodus School in Kampala, we’ve made major progress:

✓ Installed a 2,000-liter rainwater collection tank, gutters, and piping
✓ Repaired portions of the school roof
✓ Completely rebuilt the boys’ and girls’ bathrooms with new toilets and a biodegradable septic system
✓ Added handwashing stations and provided WASH and hygiene education
✓ Delivered scholastic materials, school supplies, whiteboards, and athletic equipment
✓ Supported school cleanup, repairs, and teacher training

One major project remains: the roof.

Exodus School shares its roof with Bible Proof International Church. During the week, the building provides a place for children to learn; on Sundays, it serves the church community.

With Uganda’s rainy season approaching, repairing the remaining roof is urgent.

Roof Repair Goal: $3,500
Raised: $500
Still Needed: $3,000

Every contribution helps us get closer to completing this project and protecting the improvements already made.

Whether you are supporting us from Evergreen, Conifer, Denver, elsewhere in Colorado, or across the country, thank you for believing that access to clean water, sanitation, and education can change a child’s future.

Give today. Change tomorrow.
Speakers for Africa — Educate. Empower. Transform.

Our 2026 Mid-Year Impact Report is here!

Because of your generosity, 2026 has already been a year of incredible progress.

Together, we've expanded access to clean water, improved school sanitation, provided educational resources, and supported healthier learning environments for students in Kampala and Rwakobo, Uganda.

Every project you see in this report represents something bigger than construction or supplies—it represents children learning in safer, healthier schools and communities building a brighter future together.

To everyone who has donated, volunteered, shared our mission, or encouraged our work—thank you. Your support is making a lasting difference.

We're especially grateful for the incredible support we've received from our friends and community in Evergreen, Colorado, and from our dedicated team and partners in Uganda. This impact belongs to all of us.

Take a look through our 2026 Mid-Year Impact Report and celebrate what we've accomplished together. We're excited to continue this work during the second half of the year.

❤️ Thank you for believing in the mission of Speakers for Africa.
