Colorado Cancer Foundation The Colorado Cancer Foundation (CCF) is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit devoted to curing cancer in all its forms.

Funded through generous donations and a series of sporing events, including the annual Eldorado Run for the Cure, the CCF continues to expand its reach, impacting the lives of patients, families, physicians, researchers, and medical students throughout the State of Colorado. Eldorado Run for the Cure:

Founded in 1980, the Eldorado Run for the Cure is the longest running footrace in the State of Colorado. All proceeds from the annual event benefit the Colorado Cancer Foundation (CCF), a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization devoted to aiding oncology patients, researchers, and physicians at the University of Colorado's Division of Medical Oncology, located at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO. Community hospitals and treatment centers in rural Colorado also benefit from the CCF, e.g., in select cases, patients in need of immediate care may be flown to the Anschutz Medical Campus for life-saving treatment.

The Colorado Cancer Foundation is grateful to one of its primary sponsors, Pasta Jay’s Restaurant of Boulder who, for many years, has generously donated delicious catered food to the 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation’s primary fundraiser, the annual, Run for the Cure, which is taking place this year on Thursday, August 06, 2026 at 6:00 PM.

Starting at Eldorado Springs Pool, located 294 Artesian Drive, Eldorado, CO 80025, every August for the past 47 years, the historic run/walk has helped the Colorado Cancer Foundation (CCF) raise tens of thousands of dollars annually, which it donates to the University of Colorado Anschutz’s Division of Medical Oncology in Aurora, furthering research and patient care.
