Insurance has become more expensive, harder to find, and less comprehensive. This creates real financial strain for residents and can complicate home sales, since buyers need insurance to qualify for a mortgage!

Many insurers have stopped writing new policies in the area, declined to renew existing ones, or sharply raised premiums and deductibles, and some now require proof of defensible space or home-hardening measures before offering coverage.

Come to the next Conifer Area Town Hall Meeting to learn more about insurance, new senior services, wildfire prevention, Meyer Ranch, and to meet Commissioner Dahlkemper, Senator Baisley, and Representative Story!

🌲 Help Build More Trails in Conifer! 🚴🥾🏃

Exciting things are happening in our mountain community!

A community fundraising effort is underway to help build new trails on the Conifer High School campus. If the fundraising goal is reached, Jefferson County Open Space plans to connect these trails with Meyer Ranch, Flying J Ranch, and all three Conifer schools, creating an incredible network for our community to enjoy.

These trails would provide opportunities for:
🚵 Mountain bikers
🏃 Cross country runners
🚶 Walkers and hikers
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Families and community members who love spending time outdoors

Beaver Ranch Town Hall

Join us on Thursday, July 30 at 6:00pm at the Main Lodge for an evening of updates, discussion, and community conversation about Beaver Ranch Park.

We’ll be covering this year’s construction progress, what to expect over the next 12 months, community event ideas and future programming, volunteer opportunities, and board service opportunities.
