ماذا لو كل دور رعاية اتحولت لبيوت صغيرة؟

تخيلوا معانا شكل حياة الأطفال وهي بتتحول من نظام مؤسسي كبير لبيوت مليانة دفء وأقرب للأسرة الحقيقية… فيها خصوصية، أمان، واستقرار، وحياة شبه أي طفل في بيته الطبيعي.

من أوضة فيها دفء بدل عنبر، لأم ثابتة بدل شيفتات، لخصوصية محفوظة، ولبيت بيكبر فيه الطفل وهو عارف إنه ليه مكان يرجعله دايمًا.

في يلا كفالة، بنحاول نحول الفكرة دي لواقع من خلال مبادرة "البيت الصغير"، خطوة أقرب لحياة أسرية طبيعية للأطفال فاقدي الرعاية الأسرية.

What if every residential care institution turned into small homes?

Imagine with us how children’s lives would change from a large institutional system into warm homes that feel much closer to a real family… with privacy, safety, stability, and a life similar to any child growing up in their own home.

هل عارفين ليه مش أي شخص ينفع يكون مقدم رعاية في "البيت الصغير"؟

لأن لازم تتوفر فيه شروط محددة ومعينة ومؤهلات خاصة، علشان كده مؤسسة يلا كفالة بالتعاون مع مؤسسة أينوفت للتعليم بتقدملكم برنامج تدريبي متخصص لمقدمي الرعاية الحاليين والمحتملين.

لو بتشتغل كمقدم رعاية للأطفال، أو شايف إن عندك المهارات والمؤهلات اللي تؤهلك للدور ده، وعايز تعمل فرق حقيقي في حياة الأطفال، فدي فرصتك تتعلّم أهم المهارات اللي تساعدك على فهم احتياجاتهم والتعامل معاهم بشكل صحي وآمن.

ليه تاخد البرنامج؟

• محتوى تدريبي شامل يجمع بين الجوانب النفسية والتربوية والاجتماعية والصحية.
• تدريب عملي قائم على النقاش والتطبيق وتبادل الخبرات.
• التدريب مجاني بالكامل.
• شهادة معتمدة بعد إتمام البرنامج.

معايير اختيار المتقدمين للبرنامج:

• مؤهل دراسي عالي.
• السن من 30 إلى 45 سنة.
• التفرغ طوال فترة التدريب، مع عدم السماح بالغياب لأكثر من مرتين.
• التفرغ التام للإقامة الكاملة كأم بديلة أو مقدمة رعاية للأطفال في البيت الصغير.

هدفنا هو إعداد وتأهيل مقدمي الرعاية علشان يقدروا يقوموا بدورهم بأفضل شكل ممكن وبفاعلية أكبر، لأن رعاية الأطفال محتاجة أكتر من حسن النية...

A meaningful step inside (AUC) The American University in Cairo

We organized a cultural salon at AUC, bringing together students interested in advocacy and social causes to talk about Kafala, its real impact, and the role of Yalla Kafala Foundation in supporting children without parental care.

من التحديات اللي لسه بتواجه بعض الأسر الكافلة لحد النهارده، رفض بعض شركات التأمين إضافة الأطفال المكفولين للتأمين العائلي، رغم قبول إضافة الأطفال البيولوجيين لنفس الوثيقة.

المشكلة دي مش مجرد إجراء إداري أو ورقة ناقصة، لكنها بتأثر بشكل مباشر على الأسرة والطفل نفسيًا وماديًا. فالأهل بيلاقوا نفسهم مضطرين يتحملوا تكاليف علاج ومتابعات طبية كان من المفترض أن يغطيها التأمين، بينما الطفل بيوصل له إحساس مؤلم إنه مختلف أو أقل استحقاقًا من أي طفل تاني داخل أسرته.

والتأثير بيكون أصعب بكتير مع الأطفال اللي بيعانوا من أمراض مزمنة أو حالات صحية معقدة، وبيحتاجوا متابعة مستمرة، وتحاليل دورية، وأشعات وعلاج طويل المدى. وقتها بيبقى رفض التأمين عبء إضافي على الأسرة، وده بيأثر على قدرة الطفل في إنه ياخد الرعاية الصحية اللي بيحتاجها بشكل منتظم.

الطفل المكفول هو فرد كامل داخل أسرته، ومن حقه ياخد نفس الحماية والرعاية والفرص المتاحة لأي طفل آخر داخل البيت. واستمرار التفرقة دي بيطرح تساؤلات مهمة عن مدى عدالة السياسات الحالية، وضرورة العمل على تغييرها.

برأيكم، إيه الحلول اللي ممكن تساعد في إنهاء المشكلة دي وضمان حق الأطفال المكفولية في التغطية التأمينية؟ شاركونا أفكاركم وتجاربكم في التعليقات.
One of the challenges that many kafala families still face today is that some insurance companies refuse to add kafala children to family health insurance plans, while biological children are accepted under the very same policies.

This issue is not just an administrative procedure or a missing document. It has a direct financial and emotional impact on both the family and the child. Families often find themselves covering medical expenses and follow-up care that should have been covered by insurance, while the child may be left with the painful feeling that they are somehow different or less entitled than other children in their family.

The impact is even greater for children living with chronic illnesses or complex medical conditions that require ongoing care, regular tests, scans, and long-term treatment. In these cases, the lack of insurance coverage becomes an additional burden on families and can affect a child's ability to receive the healthcare they need consistently.

A child under kafala is a full and valued member of their family, deserving the same protection, care, rights, and opportunities as any other child in the household. The persistence of unequal treatment not only affects the well-being and sense of belonging of these children but also raises serious concerns about the fairness of current policies. It underscores the urgent need to reexamine and reform existing regulations to ensure that all children are treated with dignity, equity, and in their best interests.
