🎯 Meet Our 2026 Youth Camp Counselors: Miriam!

Say hello to Miriam, who is returning for her third year at Camp Concord and will be leading the Bobcats Cabin this summer! 🐾

Miriam is excited to get to know her campers, create unforgettable memories, and help make this the best week of their summer. ☀️🏕️

When she’s not at camp, you’ll find her embracing her creative side through drawing, painting, and scrapbooking. 🎨 She’s also a part-time student working toward a degree in architecture, combining creativity with big dreams.

One thing Miriam knows for sure? Her love for Lake Tahoe and Camp Concord. It’s the highlight of her summer every year, and she can’t wait to share that experience with this year’s campers. 🌊💚

Meet Our 2026 Youth Camp Counselors!

We’re excited to welcome Angelica back for her third year at Youth Camp and her second year as our Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Head Counselor! 🎉

Angelica plays a vital role in mentoring our CITs, helping them develop the leadership and camp skills they need to continue their Camp Concord journey and become paid counselors when they turn 17. Our future camp leaders are in fantastic hands! 🌟

When she’s not at Camp Concord, Angelica enjoys gardening 🌼 and works as a Special Education Teacher, bringing patience, compassion, and encouragement to everything she does.

We’re so grateful to have Angelica as part of our camp family and can’t wait to see the positive impact she’ll have on this year’s campers and CITs.

A Funny Thing That Happened at Camp…

Avelle showed up to archery… and basically became a pro overnight. 🎯

After hitting the target three times in a row, Avelle took it to the next level — nailing a tiny pine cone sitting on the target! 🙌 Talk about focus (and maybe a little camp magic ✨).

It’s moments like these — surprising yourself, laughing with friends, and celebrating the little wins — that make Camp Concord unforgettable. 💚
