Happy Sunday everyone!

PHKids was AWESOME today! We learned about the Fruit of the Spirit and dug into Galatians 5:22-23.

Keep the conversation going at home by reading the scripture together. We send out a handout each week that will also help talk about the lesson as a family. We encourage you to give your students the opportunity to lead and share with you what they learned.

PHKids Families! Let’s Keep the Conversation Going at Home!

On Sunday, we wrapped up our series “The Power of the Spirit!” by learning about the Armor of God and how God gives us everything we need to stand strong.

We’re excited to kick off our new summer series, “Be Like Jesus!”, starting June 7th!

This week, take a few minutes together as a family to read Ephesians 6:10–18 and talk about what each piece of the armor means. The video below is a great way to spark the conversation and help your kids remember what they learned.

We love partnering with you as you help your kids grow in faith and confidence in Jesus.

In the final week of the Power of the Spirit series, kids will explore Ephesians 6 where Paul encourages Jesus' followers to stand firm against the devil’s evil plans by putting on spiritual armor and relying on the Holy Spirit for strength.

Can you think of a time that you needed to remember this truth in your walk with God?

Consider sharing this with your child this week and read Ephesians 6 with them. Kids love to share when they know that they are safe - after you have shared your experience - and read together - ask them if there is a time recently that they needed to remember that God has given them strength - and they can trust the Holy Spirit to protect them.
