Who is planning to join us at one of our three group runs this week? Anyone considering coming out for the first time?

Tuesday: Join us this Tuesday at Westgate Park, 3271 Wicklow Road, for "Loopy Tuesday." We will do 1.1-mile loops around the park following our group picture at 6:30 p.m. Meet under the water towers in the parking lot near the indoor shelterhouse.

Thursday: Meet us Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Battelle Darby Metro Park, 8465 Alkire Road, for "Trail Thursday." Please park in the gravel lot. We will meet in the parking lot for a group picture.

Saturday: Looking to go the distance? Find us outside of Glenwood United Methodist Church, 2833 Valleyview Drive (corner of Valleyview and Hague), on Saturday at 7 a.m. before we head down the Camp Chase Bike Trail.

Prices go up at the end of the day Sunday for the Hilltop USA 5K. For $40, you'll get a super-comfortable t-shirt, a collector's medal celebrating 250 years of America's independence, a scoop of Sweet Tooth Ice Cream, and a welcoming walking-and-running community ready to celebrate you!

Unable to join us in person? You can join us virtually and still get a t-shirt and medal!

Proceeds go to the American Legion Don Gentile Post 532 Honor Guard.

🌅 The alarm clocks rang a little earlier today as we kicked off our first 7:00 AM group run of the summer!

A big shoutout to our CWRC Cooler Crew for setting up coolers along the course and helping everyone stay hydrated on a warm morning. These behind-the-scenes volunteers make our runs possible, and we’d love to add a few more people to the crew this summer. If you’re interested in helping support, let us know!

For several members, today’s run also served as a final shakeout before tomorrow’s Columbus 10K. Good luck to everyone racing—trust your training, enjoy the experience, and have fun out there!

Thanks to everyone who came out and started their Saturday with us. Summer mornings are officially here. ☀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Did you know?

As a tribute to U.S. service members and military veterans, the Hilltop USA 5K features a ruck division. In this division, men carry 35 pounds and women carry 20 pounds on their backs while completing the Hilltop USA 5K course.

Believe it or not, participants in the Ranger Assessment and Selection Program must carry 35 pounds during a 12-mile march and complete the course in three hours.

With the Hilltop USA 5K taking place on America's 250th birthday, there is no better time to honor our service members by taking on the ruck challenge.

As a reminder, the Hilltop USA 5K benefits American Legion Don Gentile Post 532 and its color guard.

Whether you plan to run, walk, ruck or volunteer, we hope to see you on July 4 at the annual Hilltop USA 5K.
