Register your youngest Riders for a Pelotonia Kids 2026 ride! πŸ’šπŸš²

From June through September, young Riders across our community are hopping on bicycles, tricycles, balance bikes, scooters, and more β€” all to fuel life-saving research for childhood cancer.

In collaboration with OSUCCC-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute 100% of every dollar raised by Pelotonia Kids participants is directed to innovative pediatric cancer research at Nationwide Children's Hospital Foundation.

This week, we gathered with Team Huntington to celebrate something truly extraordinary: $50 MILLION all-time raised for innovative cancer research at the OSUCCC-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.

Current and former Huntington National Bank executive leadership team members plus Pelotonia co-chairs through the years β€” some traveling from out of state to be there in person β€” joined us at Huntington’s Columbus headquarters as we expressed gratitude for their leadership, honored their incredible impact, and marked this historic milestone together.

Cancer rates among adults under 50 are rising β€” and the OSUCCC-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute is responding with something new.

BRIDGE β€” Building Research Innovation and Care Delivery for Groups with Young Adult and Early-Onset Cancers β€” is a first-of-its-kind initiative for patients ages 18–50. It wraps coordinated care around the whole person: fertility counseling, genomic testing, financial navigation, childcare support, clinical trials, and long-term survivorship β€” not as afterthoughts, but as part of the plan from the start.

Pelotonia funding is driving the research behind it. Because of this community, scientists have the resources to ask β€” and start answering β€” one of oncology's most urgent questions: why are more young people developing cancer?

βœ… If you start gradually, break it up, and can ride 60 to 70% of your route distance beforehand, you’re ready.

🚨 Only 300 spots remain for the 23-mile Ride Weekend route on Saturday, August 1!

Designed for cyclists of all experience levels who are ready for a few hills, this point-to-point route begins in Downtown Columbus and concludes with a strong finish in New Albany.

Because safety and Rider experience come first, each Pelotonia 2026 route has a set capacity. Once a route fills, it will close β€” and you won’t be able to switch into it later.

Once the 23-mile route reaches capacity, these alternatives are great options to ride:
🟒 17-mile (Saturday): NEW Downtown Columbus Loop (*also filling quickly!)
🟒 27-mile (Sunday): New Albany Loop

⚠️ Please note: the 46-mile route is already at capacity.
