Congratulations, Class of 2026, on this remarkable achievement. Each of you should feel immense pride. Your education has the power to unlock a world of opportunities that you may still need to realize. The relationships you have built, the friendships you have formed, and the opportunities you have embraced all have the potential to impact your lives profoundly.

The M&M Legacy Foundation Scholarship is a college scholarship awarded to an exceptional high school senior who embodies leadership, service, and a commitment to positive change in their life and community. This merit-based scholarship honors the late Mamie Mew, whose legacy instilled in us the value of giving back and helping others achieve their goals.

To qualify, the applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 or higher. Accepted to a two- or four-year institution, the recipient should aim to make a meaningful difference in their school and community. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to pursue and excel in their dreams. A scholarship packet detailing the qualifications for this scholarship is available.

This year, the M&M Legacy Foundation was pleased to award three outstanding students $2,000 scholarships each to support their college expenses. The three recipients of the M&M Legacy Foundation scholarship are Jaiden McKnight, Zy/Nahriah Rhodes, and Armani Dupree. As the committee reviewed their applications, it was clear they embody scholars, leaders, and adventurers. Their futures look bright, and we expect great accomplishments from them.

Once again, congratulations, Class of 2026, and best wishes as you move on to the next chapter of your lives.

For the third year in a row, I am honored to award the M&M Legacy Foundation Scholarship to three outstanding students from Allendale-Fairfax High School in Fairfax, South Carolina.
