For the past several years, M.O.M has been honored to show up in meaningful ways for women facing crisis. Through our M.O.M Crisis Grant, we have been able to give away thousands of dollars to support women navigating unexpected hardships — from urgent financial needs to life transitions that require immediate care and community support.

Because of this support, women have been reminded that they are not alone.

At this time, we have reached our financial limit. To continue making a difference, we are asking our community to partner with us by giving what you can. Every donation helps us continue to show up with compassion, dignity, and real support for women who have found themselves in vulnerable moments.

✨ March is National Women’s History Month ✨

This month, we celebrate the strength, leadership, and lasting contributions of women who have shaped history and transformed communities around the world.

From advocating for freedom and justice…
to advancing education, equality, and opportunity…
women from diverse backgrounds have helped pave the way for future generations.

At Mothers on a Mission, we also honor the everyday history being written by single mothers who are building stability, overcoming challenges, and creating brighter futures for their families.

We celebrate trailblazers such as:

🌟 Harriet Tubman — abolitionist and humanitarian who led many to freedom
🌟 Dolores Huerta — Latina labor leader and civil rights activist
🌟 Dr. Maya Angelou — poet, author, and voice of resilience
🌟 Malala Yousafzai — global advocate for girls’ education
🌟 Ruth Bader Ginsburg — champion for gender equality and justice
🌟 Indira Gandhi — India’s first female Prime Minister and influential global leader

Their legacies remind us that courage, determination, and vision can change the course of history.

💛 This month, we honor the women who paved the way — and the mothers who continue to make history every day.

✨ March is National Social Work Month ✨

Social workers show up in some of life’s most vulnerable moments.
In hospitals.
In schools.
In homes.
In courtrooms.
In communities that are hurting and trying to heal.

They advocate, support, educate, and empower — often behind the scenes, without recognition, but with deep purpose.

At Mothers on a Mission, we understand that many single mothers are navigating systems, stress, trauma, and transition. Social workers play a vital role in helping families access resources, build stability, and rediscover hope.

This month, we honor the professionals who listen without judgment, stand in the gap, and remind others that they are not alone.

💙 If a social worker has made a difference in your life or your child’s life, take a moment to thank them.

💙 If you are a social worker, we see you and we appreciate the heart you bring to this work every day.

Today we celebrate the strength, resilience, and brilliance of women everywhere. 🌍✨

At M.O.M. – Mothers on a Mission, we honor the women who lead families, uplift communities, and keep going even when the journey is hard. Being a mother, mentor, sister, friend, and leader all at once takes courage and heart.

To every woman who is building, healing, growing, and showing up for her children and her dreams — we see you and we celebrate you.

May we continue to support one another, break barriers, and create spaces where women and mothers can thrive.

Happy International Women’s Day. 💐

We pour so much of ourselves into our kids, making sure they eat right, get enough sleep, and stay active. But here’s a little reminder: Mother's Health matters too. This month, we want to share information on Exercise and Physical Health Awareness.

You don’t need a fancy gym or hours of free time to take care of yourself. A 20-minute walk, dancing in the kitchen with your kids, stretching before bed, or even doing squats while the laundry runs, it all counts! Every bit of movement boosts your energy, lifts your mood, and strengthens your body.

Taking care of your physical health isn’t selfish; it’s an act of love for both you and your family.

Let’s encourage each other! Drop a 💖 below and share your favorite way to stay active as a busy mom.

✨ Mothers on a Mission Update ✨

Although it’s been quiet on our page, the work has not stopped. Over the past few weeks, Mothers on a Mission has been blessed to provide over $1,200 in crisis grant funding to single mothers across South Carolina who are facing unexpected financial hardship.

We are grateful to be able to step into the gap for mothers navigating moments that shake their households — but we cannot continue this work without your support.

We know these times are difficult for many. Between the ongoing economic challenges, changes to SNAP benefits, and the effects of the government shutdown, families across our state are feeling the strain. As we approach the holiday season, many single mothers are unsure how they will put food on the table, purchase a turkey, travel to loved ones, or provide even the simplest gifts for their children.
If you feel led to give, any amount makes a real impact in the homes of single mothers right here in South Carolina.
