๐ŸŽฅ Have you seen it yet? ๐ŸŽฅ

Our Executive Director, Zee Brown, joined WLTX News 19 at Noon () with our very own NAMIWalks Mid-Carolina emcee, Whitney Sullivan (), to talk about the importance of mental health and the impact NAMIWalks has on our community.

Zee did an incredible job sharing why this mission matters and how every step helps support education, advocacy, and hope for individuals and families across the Midlands.

๐Ÿ’š Take a few minutes to watch the interview.
๐Ÿ‘Ÿ Then join us this Saturday at NAMIWalks Mid-Carolina!

June is Menโ€™s Mental Health Month.

Did you know?

๐Ÿ”น Men are less likely than women to seek mental health treatment, even when theyโ€™re struggling.
๐Ÿ”น Men account for nearly 80% of su***de deaths in the United States.

Mental health is health. Checking in, speaking up, and seeking support are signs of strengthโ€”not weakness.

If you or someone you know needs support, help is available. Visit namicanhelp.org.

๐Ÿ’š Comment below: Why do YOU walk?

06/01/2026

๐Ÿ’š WHY I WALK ๐Ÿ’š

โ€œFor the veteran fighting battles no one can see.โ€

Some wounds are visible. Others are carried quietly.

Today, we also honor the veterans, service members, and military families who navigate challenges that often go unseen. Their courage doesnโ€™t end when the uniform comes off, and neither should our support.

At NAMIWalks Mid-Carolina, we walk for those who have served, those who continue to serve, and those who may be struggling in silence. We walk to remind them that seeking support is a sign of strength and that they never have to face their journey alone.

Today, we walk for our veterans.

๐Ÿ’š Who are you walking for?

Share your reason below. Your story may be the encouragement someone needs to hear today.
