3 Years of Genocide: Peace in Gaza Now! Protest

Some signs provided. For those willing and able, we will march.

Three years of Israel's genocide in Gaza was made possible by a complicit US government under both Biden and Trump, arming and enabling the Netanyahu regime. And, as Israel's genocide in Gaza unfolded, the most right wing government in Israeli history pushed forward settlement building and apartheid in the Palestinian West Bank and East Jerusalem, turning a blind eye to and even encouraging settler violence.

We demand accountability for genocide and war crimes, including the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. We demand the US stop arming Israel, block the bombs and demand accountability for human rights abuses. We call on the US to force Israel to withdraw from Gaza and allow for the rebuilding of Gaza. We call on the US to use its power and influence to compel Israel to respect the human rights of Palestinians, especially in the West Bank.

Join us for an END THE WAR NOW protest this Saturday Oct 3rd 11am-Noon at the SC State House, Main & Gervais (alternate location Assembly & Gervais if needed). Some signs provided. Be prepared to march.

Failing to strike a peace deal, the US-Israeli war on Iran drags on, destabilizing the region and tanking the US economy with high gas and diesel prices. Launched on the false pretext that Iran's nuclear program constituted an immediate threat, the war is completely unnecessary, unauthorized by Congress and therefore illegal. And no end is in sight. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is boasting about tricking Trump into attacking Iran.

We demand an immediate end to the war on Iran. We can't afford this any longer. Protests the first Saturday of each month until the war ends.

What is the role of the international community and the U.S. in particular? What are possible outcomes? Dr. Malici has authored several articles and books on international conflict and American foreign policy. Among the books are U.S. Presidents and Foreign Policy Mistakes, Role Theory and Role Conflict in U.S.-Iran Relations and An Introduction to the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. Dr. Malici is donating all profits from his book An Introduction to the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict to humanitarian relief work. Enjoy live music from Candace Chellew & Beth Hart, Doc Snow (Kevin Mckinney), JD Boatright, and Casey Dianne, plus poetry from Al Black and Omari Fox and others. Learn how to get involved with groups working for a better world at the Organization Fair. Carolina Peace's annual festival-style event celebrating the International Day of Peace (actually on Sept 21st), Peace Day at the State House coincides with the Soda City Market, so drop in, or bring a chair or picnic blanket and stay awhile. Four hardy people came Saturday Sept 5th for a PEACE PROTEST 11am-Noon at the SC State House ( number four was Paul Trapier Palmer , and he took the photo). Many passers expressed their approval; the war with Iran is particularly unpopular.
End the War Now. Stop Arming Israel. Stop the Genocide in Gaza.
David Matos brought a cooler.
Failing to strike a peace deal to end the war, Trump has renewed attacks on Iran, including attacks on civilian targets considered war crimes. The war remains unauthorized by Congress and illegal despite Trump's claims he can restart the clock on the War Powers Act. And no end is in sight. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is boasting about tricking Trump into attacking Iran. Under Trump's fraudulent ceasefire in Gaza, Netanyahu has continued to press a slow genocide in Gaza. Some 1,300 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed by Israel in Gaza while Israel continues to block rebuilding.
