Some trophies are won. Others become part of history.

The Rountree-Cox Mace was created to honor the founders of the Georgia-South Carolina Junior Team Matches, Charlie Rountree Jr. and Pete Cox, while celebrating more than 50 years of one of the nation’s longest-running interstate junior rivalries.

Every engraving represents a player, a team, a captain, or a contributor who helped shape this event. This afternoon, one more team will earn its place in that legacy as the 51st champion is crowned.

History isn’t just remembered. Today, it’s written.
