The International Racquetball Federation congratulates the athletes, organizers, and volunteers involved in the first Racquetball Tournament for Athletes with Disabilities, held on June 14, 2026, at the Ilsan Goyang Gymnasium Racquetball Courts in South Korea.

We applaud all participants for their determination, skill, and passion for our sport. Events like these are an important step toward making racquetball more inclusive and accessible for athletes of all abilities.

Special thanks to President Cho Wang Gi, Secretary General Kim Sung Suk, the tournament officials, and everyone whose hard work made this event possible.

Together, we continue to grow the racquetball community and create opportunities for everyone to enjoy our sport. 🌎

Meet María Paz Muñoz 🇪🇨, who has been officiating for the IRF for the past 13 years.

Beyond her role as a referee, María Paz has been an important member of Ecuador’s National Team, with multiple achievements as an athlete, and continues to give back to the sport through her racquetball academy in Cuenca, Ecuador.

She also serves as the PARC Athletes’ Representative and is the President of the Athletes’ Commission at ACODEPA, helping ensure that athletes’ voices are represented in the development of the sport.

Her experience as an athlete, leader, and official reflects a lifelong commitment to racquetball both on and off the court. 🏆
