A small hardy group of volunteers had a good time today closing off social trails and cuts today on Lower Columbine!

What a fun day in the canyon!

Families joined Board Members Steve and Kendra for a Family Nature Walk, learning about magnetic north versus true north, basic map skills, and how to navigate the trail. 🧭

Everyone also enjoyed playing in the creek, participating in nature bingo, going on a scavenger hunt, and learning the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace.

Thank you to all the families who came out and helped make it such a great day!
