Newborn Hope

Newborn Hope Providing Hope for Colorado’s Premature Community.

In the NICU, strength is often found in the quietest moments.

A heartbeat.
A hand held tightly.
A baby resting skin-to-skin against their parent’s chest.

Kangaroo Care is more than comfort. It supports bonding, regulates breathing and heart rate, encourages brain development, and reminds parents that their presence plays an important role in their baby’s healing.

This year’s Kangaroo Care Day theme, Stillness is Strength, honors the powerful connection between parents and their babies — and the care teams who help make those moments possible.

Today, we celebrate every family navigating the NICU with courage, love, and quiet resilience.

Today, supporters, businesses, and community leaders will come together at the 5th Annual Kahuna Kares Topgolf Fundraiser benefiting Newborn Hope.

We are incredibly grateful for every person, sponsor, and organization helping strengthen support for premature babies and NICU families across Colorado.

Some of the most important parts of motherhood are the parts no one else sees.

The quiet worrying.
The staying strong for everyone else.
The exhaustion hidden behind a smile.
The late nights, the constant care, the invisible emotional weight mothers carry every single day.

For NICU mothers, that journey can include hospital rooms, monitors, uncertainty, and learning how to be a mother in circumstances no one could ever prepare for.

But motherhood in all its forms carries a kind of strength that often goes unseen. Whether caring for a newborn, raising teenagers, grieving, healing, supporting, nurturing, or simply showing up day after day—there is extraordinary love in those ordinary and difficult moments alike.

Today, we honor every mother and the countless ways they continue to carry love, strength, and hope for the people they care for most.

Strong communities are built when businesses, families, and local leaders choose to show up for one another.

We are incredibly grateful for partners like Kahuna Kares and the many companies helping strengthen support for premature babies and NICU families across Colorado.

On May 14, we come together again for the 5th Annual Topgolf Fundraiser benefiting Newborn Hope. 💛

There’s something special about Derby Day.

The hats. The laughter. The energy of the race.

But this year, it’s more than that.

It’s a chance to gather in a beautiful space, enjoy a meaningful afternoon—and know that your presence is helping a premature baby grow stronger.

Mint juleps. Appetizers. A little friendly competition.
And an after party with live music that you won’t want to miss.

It all comes back to supporting families in the NICU.

Join us on May 2 at The Abriendo Inn from 2 pm - 6 pm. Read our newsletter to learn how your ticket supports Newborn Hope. https://conta.cc/4tHPMWw

And tiny lives were supported in ways that truly matter.

From hands sewing scent hearts…
