This one is close to home and close to the heart. 3 Hundred Days Distilling sits right up the road in Monument, founded by Army EOD veteran Mike Girard, who distilled his first batch on deployment in Afghanistan. They make the best sippin moonshine this side of the Continental Divide, ranging 40 to 105 proof across a long list of flavors. Sol2Noches pours a Blanco wild harvested from the Chihuahuan Desert, and it earned a 98 point Double Gold plus Spirit of the Year, Mexico at the 2025 Bartender Spirits Awards. People think of us as a whiskey festival, but Peaks and Pours has always been a spirits festival first, and Montanya is proof of why that matters. Female founded, female led, and a proud B-Corp, Montanya crafts rum at altitude in Crested Butte and is pouring five expressions of American craft rum at Peaks and Pours 2026 with the team batching a cocktail on site. Made right here at the base of Pikes Peak. 13th Century Whiskey ages in small 30 gallon barrels and bottles at cask strength, which is exactly why those Oloroso finishes hit the way they do. Root Shoot Spirits took Whisky of the Year and Best American Single Malt at the 2025 London Spirits Competition with a 98 point score. If you have ever struck out chasing Henry McKenna 10 Year or Elijah Craig 15, here is your shot. Heaven Hill is pouring at Peaks and Pours 2026, and the table is stacked: Old Fitzgerald 7 Year, Elijah Craig 15 Year, Heaven Hill 7 Year Bottled in Bond, Henry McKenna 10 Year Single Barrel, Elijah Craig Toasted Rye, and Evan Williams Single Barrel. That is a lineup that does not land at the same table very often.

We made the rounds and asked how the night was going. The answers were enthusiastic, a little fuzzy, and 100 percent happy.

That is the whole point. Good people, loose conversations, and a crowd that clearly did not come to sip quietly. Local distilleries pouring things you would never think to try, non-alcoholic options that actually hold their own, and the most relaxed atmosphere in Colorado Springs.

Some of the best reviews of the night were less words and more laughing. We will take it.

VIP just got a bottle attached to it.

For 2026 we're doing something we've never done before. Every new VIP ticket now includes a hand-picked bottle from Copper & Cask, selected by the Peaks and Pours team.

The bottle: MGP distilled, aged in West Virginia, filled 12/28/17. Eight years old at 118 proof.

The VIP + Bottle bundle is $175. Yield is limited and we won't know exactly how many bottles we'll have until they're in hand. First come, first served.

If you already bought your VIP ticket during the early window, check your email. You've got a separate offer waiting just for you and it expires May 18th. Don't sleep on it.

This year every dollar from every ticket goes directly to supporting the programs and services of Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center.
