Gizmo-cda will be at Car d'Alene this weekend, Saturday June 20th from 8am to 4pm. Come see us in the Young Builders Alley (corner of 5th and Front St.) and learn what Gizmo is all about! We have programs for both kids and adults.

Celebrate the Long Days of Summer with Sun Printing!
6 - 8pm, June 25th

Just a few days after the summer solstice, join us for a creative evening outdoors as we harness the power of the sun to make art!

Sun printing, also known as cyanotype printing, uses sunlight to create beautiful blue-and-white images from the shadows of leaves, flowers, stencils, and other objects. Every print is unique and full of summer magic.

We'll provide everything you need, including cyanotype dye, paper, fabric squares, stencils, and dried botanicals. Want to make your artwork even more personal? Take a nature walk beforehand and bring your own leaves, flowers, or other interesting natural objects to print with.

You can also bring your own light-colored cotton tote bag, t-shirt, or natural fiber fabric item to create a custom wearable piece of art!

$10 per person

Big thanks to the Teen Zone Connect event and the Coeur d'Alene public library for inviting us to participate! We met many people of all ages and demonstrated how much fun it is to cut cardboard with a Chompsaw, with our youngest creators being just 4! Thank you for checking us out! We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of such an amazing community.

Looking for a fun, creative way to spend a summer evening?

Join us on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from June through August for crafting, community, and creativity under the sunset! Each gathering features a different hands-on project, a chance to meet fellow makers, and an opportunity to explore Gizmo if you've never visited before.

We're kicking things off on June 11 with **Summer Bucket List Collages!** Dream big and create a vision board filled with all the adventures, goals, places, projects, and experiences you want to make happen this summer. We'll provide colorful paper, magazines, stickers, markers, paint, and plenty of inspiration.

Bring your creativity, bring a friend, and come make something memorable with us this summer.

What do you do when you need a part of your pedal drive reengineered? Find the guy who built the IMAX camera for the space station and also helped found a nationally recognized community makerspace. Big thanks to Marty and the Gizmo team for keeping Team Dogsmile moving when the wind wanes.
