A lot of our hearts are sick. Discouraged. Unfulfilled.

Year after year, the ambitions you had only seem to get further and further away until they almost feel like someone else's dreams.

You didn't necessarily do anything wrong. You just didn't realize the journey it takes to achieve that summit of your passions.

Good things are hard. The journey is long. And there are many wolves and thieves along the way. Keep going. One step at a time.

Sometimes you wonder if you're "meant" to be more than you are right now. Be vigilant against these thoughts.

Imposter syndrome can be lethal to the soul and body. No one else has deserved it more or less than you.

Find at least one or two trustworthy people with wisdom and outside perspective. Confide in them daily as mentors and encouragers.

Make sure they are in a selfless place to have your best interests at heart and don't conflict with your goals.

It's Ok to take a rest. It's Ok to set up camp for a while. But keep your compass pointed at that mountain.

Rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

Remember: Success is preparation meeting opportunity. So this year... Keep preparing while seeking opportunity.

Take steps of faith - ESPECIALLY if it's scary.

Intention is fruitless without action.

As long as you never give up, you WILL reach that tree of life.
