Moe and I had the opportunity to represent 208 Recovery at the Thrive Together event at the Sandpoint Atrium!

It was a wonderful day connecting with community members, local organizations, and individuals who share our passion for strengthening our communities.

As we continue expanding recovery support services into Bonner County, opportunities like this remind us just how important collaboration, connection, and community partnerships truly are.

Recovery thrives when communities come together!

We're excited to continue building relationships and making recovery support more accessible throughout North Idaho.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared resources, and connected with us!

BIG NEWS FOR RECOVERY IN KOOTENAI COUNTY!

We are incredibly proud to share this exciting news! 208 Recovery North has officially partnered with Northern Lakes Fire Protection District to bring immediate, peer-led recovery support directly to individuals and families in our community!

This partnership represents a significant step forward in how we respond to substance use and connect people to recovery resources.

Through our new Warm Handoff Program, first responders can connect individuals experiencing substance use challenges with trained Peer Recovery Coaches who bring something incredibly powerful to the conversation: lived experience, compassion, understanding, and hope.

We know that when someone is ready for help, timing matters. Sometimes the difference between someone continuing to struggle and taking that first step toward recovery is having the right person show up at the right moment.

Recovery doesn't always begin in a treatment center. Sometimes it begins with a conversation.

We are deeply grateful to Northern Lakes Fire Deparment for recognizing the importance of peer recovery support and embracing an innovative, community-based approach to helping individuals and families.

This is what meaningful collaboration looks like. Breaking down barriers, meeting people where they are, and creating more pathways to recovery.

Thank you to the Coeur d'Alene Press for highlighting this important partnership and helping us share the message that recovery is possible!

SANDPOINT, WE'RE OFFICIALLY OPENING OUR DOORS!

We are beyond excited to celebrate another milestone for 208 Recovery as we expand recovery support services into Bonner County!

Join us and the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce for our official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!

Friday, October 30, 2026
3:00 PM
130 McGhee Rd., Suite 220
Sandpoint, Idaho
(Inside the Community Resource EnVision Center)

This is more than a ribbon cutting. It's about breaking down barriers, building connections, and ensuring that individuals and families impacted by substance use and mental health challenges have access to compassionate, peer-led recovery support right in their own community.

We believe recovery is possible, there are many pathways, and no one should have to navigate recovery alone.

We are incredibly grateful to our community partners, supporters, and everyone who has helped make this expansion possible.

Come celebrate with us, meet our team, and help us welcome a new chapter of hope and recovery in Sandpoint!

Recovery happens in community, and we're just getting started!

30 years of research to learn from. We should be willing to look critically at what we've done, keep what works, stop investing in what doesn't, and build prevention strategies around DATA rather than tradition.

Our kids deserve prevention that doesn't just make adults feel like we're doing something.

They deserve prevention that actually works.
