Muffin loves the outdoors and is always up for an adventure. Due to a medical condition that makes her eyes sensitive to sunlight, she wears protective goggles outside—but they never slow her down.

We encourage you to visit in person to meet our available pets and speak with our adoption counselors. While an animal may appear on our website or be visible during your visit, they may already have a pending adoption.

A piece of Idaho is headed to the nation’s capital! 🎄🇺🇸 An 80-foot grand fir from the Salmon River Ranger District on the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests has been selected as the 2026 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree. The tree will make its way from north-central Idaho to Washington, D.C., later this year, where it will be decorated with thousands of handcrafted ornaments made by Idaho residents. Little Wranglers Learning Center stopped by with surprises for the animals! They raised funds through a lemonade stand to fund their 'summer bucket list' activities. One of them was to donate toys to the animals. We were so honored to be included. And the animals LOVED it! Thank you for your kind hearts and smiling faces.
